Howdy Folks, this is @zambereileen posting from the mountains of Southern Oregon🌲 It’s midweek today, which means I spent much of the day driving my children up and down the mountain. Living rurally, and raising children who are involved in sports and other regular after school activities, makes coordinating schedules a daily challenge. When we chose to settle on the mountain, we promised ourselves that our children would not be at a disadvantage due to our location– but rather thrive in a wholesome and work oriented environment, yet still have some access to the perks of town. Thus far we have found balance, even if it means I spend far too much time in my car. Thankfully, the view is always lovely with my children at my side.
