When the sun comes up on the Outer Banks it’s like a race to the shoreline for surfers and photographers. Especially if you look out the window around 6:15 and the sky is glowing. Usually I’m jacked on coffee by 6:30 am and ready to shoot and surf! Charlie, pictured here works as a package carrier for one of the big companies so there’s limited time to get some good waves. Work starts early but good living starts earlier.
