where i live pampas grass is considered sort of “ornamental”….probably because it can grow and thrive here in the sand…in other places it is considered a noxious weed…in other places i have read that planting pampas grass in your front yard means that you are a “swinger”…well almost everyone in the outer banks has pampas …
