It is beautiful. David, in your ability to capture female beauty, you long ago surpassed most who ever shot for Playboy. I was tempted to say “all,” but then I haven’t seen all the photos shot for Playboy. Could be an interesting topic to research… well, for awhile… then it would get boring. These images you create as you travel here and there never get boring…
…and when you stay home, those images too…
FROSTFROG
well i hope my images of women do not fall into the Playboy category….certainly not at all my intent…and i will photograph now my granddaughter with the same gusto…as i did my mother and other women in my family….women have always played a key role in my life..my salvation…both immediate family and as collaborators all along the way with my work…i rarely shoot “models” or “random” women on the street…all of the women in my pictures are friends or colleagues or students of mine…all of the women in (based on a true story) were also working colleagues who also helped produce and edit the book…so my respect goes way beyond any physical beauty which i may also appreciate, yet not the only reason for photographing.
cheers, david
Sir, I have finally been able to come up with a title for your image. With your permission am sharing it. It’s a song by Sting called Desert Rose. This image reminded me of the song.
Regards.
David, just in case I wasn’t totally clear, what you say is exactly the point I meant to make – true beauty against an artificial but popular standard of beauty…
