David Liggins in 1967 on his homemade skateboard fashioned out of plywood and roller skate wheels. David is one of 9 members of the Liggins family I photographed for my book Tell It Like It Is republished now for release by BurnBooks next Wednesday. Also part of a large 65 print exhibition of my work for LOOK3.org opening JUNE 11 for Festival of the Photograph. I put my heart into photographing the Liggins in 1967 and I’ve put my heart into making this book now. #tellitlikeitis #skateboarding #burnbooks

Can’t wait!
Does this Wednesday release also include the limited edition version? If it is, those of us who are interested better keep our eyes peeled before it’s sold out.
Most anticipated book I can remember. I’ve already prepared my scotch, cigar and a chair under the sun.
Looking forward to it David. See you and this work soon!
This could be your best book ever.
That collector edition is something to behold.
Interesting thought, Skiwaves – and one that had occurred to me, too.
The thing that amazes me about this book is that the images of DAH at 22 seem just as strong as the DAH of today… or ever was.
Then throw in the quality of the printing and design work. It’s a wonderful collaboration of experts to showcase something exceptional. No one will be disappointed.
