I do portfolio reviews every day one way or another. I always tell myself I don’t have time to be looking at the work of emerging photographers, yet I always cave in. I just put myself in their place. Young photogs pop into my NY loft every afternoon I’m there and a few at OBX also . Yet mostly I do it this way. FaceTime combo their link. We can chat while I scroll through their pictures. Works. Still I’m a voracious shooter. No idea why. I hate computer time . So I’ve started shooting my online portfolio reviews. With permission of course. I do lots of little weird mini projects like this that just get buried in the long run. Still I love the process. Always leads somewhere unexpected. Nothing finer!
